We believe that our pricing is very fair for both new businesses and established enterprises, however, we also understand that at the time you need to add authentication to your product there’s a lot of uncertainty. You (probably) don’t have users yet. You (probably) are still building out your MVP.
We’re founders ourselves, and we know how difficult it can be to choose between paying for a tool that can help you move faster and protecting your runway. Our goal with this program is to align our incentives with our customers and help get them on the path to growing quickly.
If you are a startup that’s planning to eventually raise money:
This offer is valid until you raise $1M (USD) or reach 5,000 monthly active users. Why 5,000? When we asked founders that were building B2B businesses, 5,000 MAUs was the equivalent of “so many [users] that we are definitely crushing it.”
Communication is key. We ask that you keep us up to date on your fundraising status. We didn’t want to add a set time limit because not all businesses are funded within their first year.
While we have a lot of respect for people who are bootstrapping their own business, it’s hard for us to set a concrete milestone for when it makes sense to start paying for auth. If you’re interested, please reach out to us and we can chat about your options!
