Announcing OIDC Support

We're excited to announce that we now support OIDC connections for customers who log in using Enterprise SSO!

What is OIDC?
OIDC (OpenID Connect 2.0) is an authentication protocol built on top of the OAuth 2.0 framework. From a user perspective, it functions the same way that SAML does - the implementation details are just a bit different.

Does my customer's IdP matter when it comes to OIDC vs SAML?
Most major IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin, etc) provide both OIDC and SAML options. Basically - if they can use SAML, they can use OIDC.

How do my customers set up an OIDC connection in PropelAuth?
Once you enable Enterprise SSO for their organization, they will have the option to set up either SAML or OIDC connections. Once they select which they would like to use, they will be taken to a wizard with specific instructions around how to get set up.
