API Key Insights
We shipped something we think you'll find useful: an Insights tab in the API Keys section of your dashboard.
If you use PropelAuth's API key authentication, you've always been able to see usage charts for individual keys, users, and orgs. But getting a quick sense of who is using your API the most across the board required a bit of digging. The Insights tab fixes that.
What it does
Open the Insights tab and you'll see your top API key consumers ranked by usage. You can group the list three ways: by organization, by user, or by individual key. No configuration needed. It works off the same validation data you're already generating.
It's handy for a few different situations: spotting which customers are leaning on your API most heavily, figuring out if a single user is driving most of an org's usage, or tracking down a key that's burning through your quota.
Part of a bigger API key toolkit
Insights builds on top of everything else PropelAuth already handles for API key auth: personal and org-scoped keys, expiration controls, rate limiting, key import for migrations, and archive vs. delete controls. If you haven't dug into the full feature set, the docs are a good starting point.
